Thursday Morning

Don't really have much to say this morning.  I'm feeling a little loopy.  This song has been in my had all morning.  I'd like ot share it with you guys.........

Carole King - You've Got A Friend Lyrics

When you're down and troubled And you need some loving care And nothing, nothing is going right Close your eyes and think of me And soon i will be there To brighten up even your darkest night You just call out my name And you know wherever I am I'll come running to see you again Winter, spring, summer or fall All you have to do is call And I'll be there You've got a friend If the sky above you Grows dark and full of clouds And that old north wind begins to blow Keep your head together And call my name out loud Soon you'll hear me knocking at your door You just call out my name And you know wherever I am I'll come running to see you again Winter, spring, summer or fall All you have to do is call And I'll be there Ain't it good to know that you've got a friend When people can be so cold They'll hurt you and desert you And take your soul if you let them Oh, but don't you let them You just call out my name And you know wherever I am I'll come running to see you again Winter, spring, summer or fall All you have to do is call And I'll be there You've got a friend

Luanne,
That song brings back memories.  When I was young I used to sing that song when I felt lonesome.  Sometimes I even sang it to good friends.  I just loved it.  I dont have the breath to sing like before, but that song will always have a place in my heart.  And remember...You,ve got a friend!
Love ya,
Mariann

If the clouds, above you, should turn dark an full of clouds.  And that old north wind should begin to blow.  Keeps your head together, and call my name out loud, now.  Soon I'll be knockin' upon your door.  Ut Oh!  It sure is catchy!  lol

Lu dear, I was trying to sort out my emotional responses when I read this entry and finally realized it perfectly describes our relationship with our Best Friend Ever, the Lord Jesus Christ!
He is always available to us, never too busy, never too taken up with His own worries, and best of all, always understands!
loving you
karyl
