TIRED OF LUPUS
Today I am tired of Lupus. I'm tired of being home bound. My life is watching others come and go. I see things through the windows of my living room. I am at the mercy of those who are able to take me out of my prision. I'm angry. It's strange that a synonym of anger is flare. How appropriate don't you think?

DEAR FRIEND MAY I SPEAK A MOMENT THAT IS COMMON. I DONT MAKE EXCUSES FOR IT. LIKEU I AM HOUSE BOUND. I AM BLIND AND SICK WITH CANCER. MY OUTTINGS R NORMALLY DR' VISITS OR WHAT IS NESSARY. THEY THINK I SHOULD BE HAPPY TO SIT IN A ROOM WAITING TILL THE NEXT OUTTING.
I HURT INSIDE THAT I AM SO LIKE U I GET ANGRY . I DID FIND SOMETHING THAT WORKS FOR ME. MY JOURNAL. WRITING STORIES. I HAVE MANY I AM NOT DONE WITH.. MY KIDS PICK PICTURES TO DISCRIBED TO ME THEY PUT ON A EMAIL AND THEN DESCRIBE I START A STORY FROM THE PIC. THEY TELL ME IS ON THERE AND WHEN I AM READY I FINISH IT.
THAT HELPS ME ALOT. BUT WHILE TRAPPED GET EVEN GET A HOBBY LOL
AND THEN DRIVE THEM NUTS WITH IT. SMILES.. I ALSO AM CROCHETING LOL (YES MEN DO THAT) I GO THROUGH JUST ONE MORE ABOUT ONCE A WEEK LOL SO THEY HAVE TO GO OUT TO GET SOME. I THEN ASK ABOUT GOING WITH THEM TO JUST PICK IT UP SMILES.
NOW IS THE TIME TO LEARN A LANGUAGE PICK UP A HOBBY OR JUST DRIVE THEM CRAZY SAYING DO U EVER PICK UP ANYTHING? I AM NOT UR MAID.

You know, Lu I never thought of flare's meaning, but yes...your temper "flares" when you're angry.
I get the cabin fever too. I don't even have my driver's license any more...so I understand being dependent on others. I get out about once every few weeks and that's it. If it weren't for you and all of our fellow lupie friends online...I would be in a strait jacket. My other source of sanity is writing...probably why I maintain so many journals...lol!
You have every right to feel angry, Lu.
Is there any way you can have folks come to visit you?

dear Luanne, what's your insurance like on getting a scooter or motorized w/c? maybe i don't know enough about you or your situation. maybe you already hav e one and it doesn't work out for you... i don't know. but since i've had mine, jus t seeing it sit there gives me a peace i didn't have before. sometimes i just go around the block on it.... much love and hugs, sara
